[Cassy and other Slytherin Prefects]
I think it is high time we officially announce the first Slytherin House event of the year. I know we will have a few post-game parties, but perhaps we should do more to promote the culture of our house, especially among the younger students.
I was thinking perhaps Saturday night we should have a gathering in the common room. Put up some tasteful decorations, some light snacks. Something classy, like we are, and a chance to network and reacquaint ourselves after a long summer.

I must admit, the NEWT level classes are providing to be a welcome change from previous years. Obviously, the wheat has been separated from the chaff and now, of course we can concentrate on refining our education toward our eventual career goals. I am especially looking forward to NEWT level History of Magic.
